Cupcake Baking class

I just want to say a special thanks to the culinary students and teachers at the Career Technical Center. I had a great time demonstrating the art of cupcake baking. While I showed off my baking skills today and let them be the taste testers, I"ll be back there on Friday to turn the table around. On Friday I get to be the judge at their baking contest! Baking is a great way to spend some time creating and being creative in the winter months in Michigan. Valentines Day Cupcakes

Valentines Day is right around the corner and Megan's Cupcakes February flavor feature is our Chocolate Cupcake with Raspberry Butter Cream Frosting. Order cupcakes the week of Valentines Day and receive free delivery in Cadillac, MI. Minimum order is 1 dozen. Cupcakes are $15 per dozen. Fox Hill Wedding Show

Pumpkin Cupcakes

It's not to late to place your order for Thanksgiving cupcakes! Cupcakes are wonderful fun and different dessert to serve for your holiday feast, but will still give you the familiar tastes of the day. Place your order for Gingerbread Cupcakes with Pumpkin Cream Cheese Frosting now. I'll be baking early Wednesday morning (the day before turkey day) and then will have your cupcakes available for pick-up @ Blackberry Rose in downtown Cadillac between 10am and 1pm. The cupcakes that will be boxed and bagged to stay fresh for the next day come in 6-packs for $7.50 or a dozen for $15.00. Mini cupcakes will also be sold by the dozen for $7.50. Cupcake Taste Testing

Come on down to Blackberry Rose, 109 N. Mitchell St., in downtown Cadillac on Saturday, October 25th from 10am-3pm. The October flavor, Rocky Road Cupcake will be available for sampling and purchasing in packages of 6. The Rocky Road is a moist chocolate cake topped with mini marshmallows and a pecan fudge frosting. I'll also have the November pumpkin cream cheese frosting available for sample and will begin taking orders for Thanksgiving. The Thanksgiving Cupcake will be a Gingerbread Cupcake with the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Frosting. Give your guests something different this year, while giving them the same tastes of this holiday season!

Cupcake of the Month Club

If you are interested in treating yourself or a friend to a gift that keeps on giving while donating to a local church, then join me on Saturday, October 11th for Octoberfest at St. Ann's Church in Cadillac, Michigan.  Megan's Cupcakes is presenting a silent auction item, the Cupcake of the Month Club.  The winning bidder will be able to take home a 6 pack of the September flavor, Caramel Apple Cupcake, then receive a certificate for 3 months of cupcakes.    The winner will join me at Blackberry Rose in downtown Cadillac to pick up their freshly baked cupcakes on the following dates:  Saturday, October 25th / flavor:  Rocky Road (a chocolate cake w/ marshmallow, pecan fudge frosting.  Saturday, November 29th / flavor: Gingerbread Cupcake w/ Pumpkin Cream Cheese Frosting.  Saturday, December 20th / flavor: Red Velvet Cupcake with Butter Cream Frosting.
